Onda

In Spring 2024, the Center for Aquaculture Technologies’ Canadian arm began a strategic split, seeking a new identity to support future growth. We were tasked with building a brand that embodied innovation, sustainability, and collaboration—within 90 days and ahead of a major trade show.

Following a rapid brand audit and workshop, the name Onda—Latin for “wave”—was selected to represent the company’s mission. A wave-inspired logo, natural colour palette, and the tagline “research that creates ripples” shaped the new brand. We delivered a full suite of launch assets, including a microsite, trade show booth, digital ads, social content, and branded merchandise.

Onda’s new identity was met with enthusiastic feedback. Within 90 days, microsite traffic jumped 280%, and social media visits rose 233% in just 15 days—affirming the brand’s strong industry impact.
