The Canada Post Hydrangea stamp, part of the renowned Flower series, celebrates two popular Canadian garden favorites: the pink Endless Summer and the snow-white Annabelle hydrangea cultivars. The design aims to capture the natural beauty and distinctive qualities of these flowers, resonating with gardeners and nature lovers across the country.

Illustrated by Montréal artist Marie-Élaine Cusson, the stamps draw inspiration from traditional botanical art, emphasizing detailed realism and vibrant color. The artwork highlights the unique textures and tones of each cultivar, creating a visually striking yet authentic representation that balances elegance with approachability.

The stamps were produced using six-color lithography by the Canadian Bank Note Company. This collaboration resulted in a refined philatelic piece that honors Canada’s horticultural heritage while continuing the beloved Flower series tradition.
